The AI-Driven Efficiency Initiative (AI-DEI) is a program designed to address operational challenges at through practical AI implementation. It transforms employees from "AI-curious" users to confident practitioners capable of leveraging tools to solve department-specific challenges and achieving 30-60% efficiency improvements in routine tasks.

Course Objectives
  • Bridge the gap between AI expectations and reality by building a clear, practical understanding of what AI can and cannot do in a business context.
  • Master prompt engineering and quick-win applications that deliver immediate efficiency gains across departments.
  • Integrate multiple AI tools into end-to-end workflows for content creation, data analysis, and task automation.
  • Establish measurable KPIs and a responsible AI adoption framework aligned with Amway's organizational goals.
  • Build department-specific AI solutions with demonstrated business value through hands-on implementation.
Course Content
  1. Module 1

    Foundations of AI, GenAI & Quick Wins

    Covers the differences between AI and GenAI, tool landscape overview, and the reality vs. expectations gap. Introduces fundamental prompt engineering and responsible AI guidelines including ethics and data confidentiality.

  2. Module 2

    Quick Win AI Applications

    Practical AI for writing, content generation, visual creation, and multilingual outputs. Includes department-specific wins across customer care, sales, finance, and HR using tools like Gamma, HeyGen, and Napkin.

  3. Module 3

    Advanced Multi-Modal AI Integration

    Combining multiple AI tools into complex content and automation pipelines. Covers video and podcast creation, data visualization, predictive analytics, and strategies to avoid tool proliferation.

  4. Module 4

    Measuring Impact & Scaling Success

    Applying Kirkpatrick's four levels to measure AI adoption effectiveness. Covers KPI tracking, use case documentation, building an AI Champions network, and aligning with Amway Global's AI strategy.

  5. Module 5

    Practical Implementation Workshop

    Hands-on group build of function-specific AI solutions addressing real pain points. Teams work through full end-to-end workflows with peer review, live demos, and structured feedback sessions.
